Emma Watson Answers 3 Fan Questions Through Official Website

Emma Watson

Emma Watson, the young star that gave a female personality to the Harry Potter movies, is moving on with her career. Just recently the trailer of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, where she is starring, was released and delighted the fans of the the book where the movie was based upon.

A few days ago she posted on her Facebook page a status accompanied by a portrait picture of herself. It reads as follows: "Have a question for Emma? Comment below with a question about her acting career and Emma will answer some favorites right here on her Facebook page!" So comments kept pouring in, but three fans beore that were lucky enough to be answered, so far.

And they were:

Question #1: What’s happening with Beauty and the Beast?

Guillermo del Toro, the director, has just finished editing his last film and is working on the script and pre-production for Beauty and the Beast.

Question #2: Would you be interested in directing/producing?

Absolutely. I still have a lot to learn but I would definitely like to do something like this in the future.

Question #3: Are there any more fair trade collaborations on the horizon?

There has been a lot of speculation about my People Tree collections, with stories running that they 'failed' or that I was unhappy. This was really strange because I felt the opposite of this. From the two collections I did with People Tree overall sales were 446,000GBP which was a huge surprise. The collections generated work for 400 farmers, artisans and tailors! For me though, the most important part of the collaboration was that I was able to raise the profile of Fair Trade fashion which I think I did successfully. I visited Bangladesh to see the clothes being made and spoke with the factory workers first hand to understand what the real issues were so I would be able to talk about them in an informed and real way. In terms of other collaborations, I have decided I want to put all of my energy into my acting career but it was something I really enjoyed doing, learnt a lot from and am glad I did.

These are very nice insights to her future projects and personal life as well. Hopefully Emma Watson will answer a few more questions regarding her career and life, just to eliminate this Harry Potter connection that my mind is trying to force me to believe.
