Now that all the heat of the controversy have somehow abated, movie makers are ready to touch on this sensitive topic once again and bring an artistic life to what really happened on Princess Diana until the tragic accident that took her life last August 31, 1997. Speaking of artistic endeavors, Caught in Flight is currently in the works, with Naomi Watts to play as the princess. It centers on Princess Diana's secret affair with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Kahn.

Caught in Flight is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel and was written for screen by Stephen Jeffreys. Aside from Naomi Watts, the movie is also starred by Naveen Andrews and Charles Edwards. It's expected release date will be on February 20, 2013.
