300: Rise Of An Empire Releases New Trailer, TV Spot And Theatrical Poster

300 has ensnared us with 300 fully-built machine-of-a-man, hurt-thumping battle scenes and a fantastic imagery that was equalled by few. Now its sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire, has come to follow its predecessor's footsteps and adding a few more that will excite fans: ass kicking female characters!

300: Rise of an Empire

Lena Headey's Gorgo will not be the only girl-power this time. She will be faced by yet another female on the other side of the war: Eva Green as Artemisia. If the mountainous abs of the Greek warriors will not make you jealous, the battle prowess of these ladies will surely make you look like a chicken.

Checkout the new trailer of 300: Rise of an Empire.

And here is an equally gripping TV spot that was released a day earlier.

And just when you thought you've seen enough, two new banner posters sprouted.

Synopsis

Based on Frank Miller's latest graphic novel Xerxes and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster 300, this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield—on the sea—as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. 300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

300: Rise of an Empire comes to theaters on March 7, 2014.
