Walt Disney's 'Into The Woods' Gets New Trailer And 11 New Official Stills

After being greatly disappointed with Maleficent (although in part only), I really hoped Disney could redeem itself in the live-action scene with their future movies. They are almost going downhill starting with the adaptation of John Carter of Mars. Hopefully this new adaptation will change that fate.

Into The Woods is directed by Rob Marshall, and stars Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Johnny Depp, Mackenzie Mauzy, and Billy Magnussen. It was based on the book by James Lapine & Stephen Sondheim with varying plots details, and adapted for screen by James Lapine.

Watch the trailer of Into The Woods by Walt Disney Studios.

New stills have also been released, featuring the major characters of the movie.

Leaving his unsympathetic aunt and uncle for Hogwarts, a wizarding school brimming with ghosts and enchantments, Harry stumbles upon a sinister mystery when he finds a three-headed dog guarding a room on the third floor. Harry Potter is lucky to reach the age of thirteen, since he has survived the murderous attacks of the feared Dark Lord on more than one occasion. His hopes for a quiet school term concentrating on Quidditch are dashed, though, when a maniacal mass-murderer escapes from Azkaban, pursued by the soul-sucking Dementors who guard the prison.
