'The BFG' Movie Adaptation By Steven Spielberg Stamps In With A 'Gigantic' New Movie Poster

Roald Dahl is one of the most writer of our time. Some of his works have already been adapted to different media -- which may serve as a testament of how good his story telling is... The BFG is no exception as a movie adaptation comes our way. It's official trailer has been previously released, with the poster unveiled just now.

The BFG is directed by Steven Spielberg based on the screenplay by Melissa Mathison, who adapted from the novel of the same title by Roald Dahl. The movie stars Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance, Penelope Wilton, Rebecca Hall, Bill Hader, and Jemaine Clement.

Please don't stare on the new poster of The BFG movie adaptation.

Synopsis

The talents of three of the world’s greatest storytellers – Roald Dahl, Walt Disney and Steven Spielberg – finally unite to bring Dahl’s beloved classic “The BFG” to life. Directed by Spielberg, Disney’s “The BFG” tells the imaginative story of a young girl and the Giant who introduces her to the wonders and perils of Giant Country. The BFG, while a giant himself, is a Big Friendly Giant and nothing like the other inhabitants of Giant Country. Standing 24-feet tall with enormous ears and a keen sense of smell, he is endearingly dim-witted and keeps to himself for the most part. Giants like Bloodbottler and Fleshlumpeater on the other hand, are twice as big and at least twice as scary and have been known to eat humans, while the BFG prefers Snozzcumber and Frobscottle. Upon her arrival in Giant Country, Sophie, a precocious 10-year-old girl from London, is initially frightened of the mysterious giant who has brought her to his cave, but soon comes to realize that the BFG is actually quite gentle and charming, and, having never met a giant before, has many questions. The BFG brings Sophie to Dream Country where he collects dreams and sends them to children, teaching her all about the magic and mystery of dreams. Having both been on their own in the world up until now, their affection for one another quickly grows, but Sophie’s presence in Giant Country has attracted the unwanted attention of the other giants, who have become increasingly more bothersome. Sophie and the BFG soon depart for London to see the Queen and warn her of the precarious giant situation, but they must first convince the Queen and her maid, Mar, that giants do indeed exist. Together, they come up with a plan to get rid of the giants once and for all.

The BFG stamps in to theaters in July 1, 2016.

In Neighbors 2, sororities and fraternities are coming back to the neighborhood and they are bringing the usual dose of dangerous fun and noisy activities that the peaceful neighbors totally abhor. If the first movie focused on the "obnoxious" fraternities... this time it will be the girl time to shine as they represent their sororities. Check out the new poster and trailer of the movie below.

Check out the hot trailer of Neighbors 2.

Synopsis

Now that Mac and Kelly Radner have a second baby on the way, they are ready to make the final move into adulthood: the suburbs. But just as they thought they’d reclaimed the neighborhood and were safe to sell, they learn that the new occupants next door are a sorority even more out of control than Teddy and his brothers ever dreamed of being.

Tired of their school’s sexist, restrictive system, the unorthodox ladies of Kappa Nu have decided to start a house where they can do whatever the hell they want. When Shelby and her sisters, Beth and Nora, find the perfect place just off campus, they won’t let the fact that it’s located on a quiet street stand in their way of parties as epic as the guys throw.

Forced to turn to the one ex-neighbor with the skills to bring down the new Greeks next door, the Radners—alongside best friends Jimmy and Paula — bring in charismatic Teddy as their secret weapon. If he can infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, the thirty somethings will shutter the Kappas’ home. But if they think that their neighbors are going down without a fight, they have severely underestimated the power of youthful ingenuity and straight-up crazy.

Neighbors 2 will spread the fun in theaters in May 20, 2016.

'A Court Of Mist And Fury' By Sarah J. Maas Gets Official Cover (A Court Of Thorns And Roses Book 2) #ACoMaF

Way back in October 2015 Bloomsbury made a guessing game for the title of the second book of A Court of Thorns and Roses. While everyone else was busy fitting title in the hash tag #ACoMaF I was busy doing a fan-made cover for the said book.

And lo three months after we get to see the official cover of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas and I was delighted enough that it almost looked as I envisioned it. The placement and the color just resonated with the one I made. But I am not saying the art department in Bloomsbury have no originality, because I know for sure that they are not allowed at least to check out fan made covers or even read fan fiction for copyright purposes. I am just happy that the cover turned out the way it's supposed to be.

Check out the cover of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.

Look how similar it looks to my fan-made cover....

Taylor Swift Turns To Dreamlike Scenarios In New 'Out Of The Woods' Music Video

The recent music video from Taylor Swift is very much like my last nightmare. It is filled with psychological representations of anxieties that I encounter in the last few years of my life. It is as if the song and and music video of Out of the Woods is especially written for me.

Out of the Woods by Taylor Swift

The video is by far, one of her very best! The visuals are so amazing and cinematic, but you are left with a dark feeling that something is creeping to get you or danger is about to happen. In every scenario she is almost always falling... until at the later part where all the gritty and ugly elements of the scenes cleared up and gave way to a calm atmosphere...

Watch the music video of Out of the Woods by Taylor Swift.

Out of the Woods is the sixth official single lifted from Taylor Swift's fifth studio album, 1989 (but it was the first promotional single and was the second to be released from said album). Being the fourth track of 1989, the song is about a relationship she was in "that the number one feeling [she] felt in the whole relationship is anxiety."

The music video was once again directed by Joseph Kahn, whom she had previous collaboration on Blank Space, Bad Blood and Wildest Dreams. The scenes were filmed in the mountainous region of Queenstown, New Zealand and on Bethells Beach.
