Maroon 5: New One More Night Single and Lyric Video

One More Night by Maroon 5

The new Overexposed album will be out next week on June 26th and, as a way to market their said album, Maroon 5 has released their second single from the album called One More Night. The said single certainly kept up with the buzz and positive response created by the previously released Moves Like Jagger and Payphone.

The band has been a miss or hit on their previous albums, but I just have a feeling Overexposed, their fourth album, is gonna rock. They almost didn't make it when their previous album, Hand All Over, flopped on the mainstream. Adam Levine, the band's front liner, may have some experiences on The Voice scene that may have forced him to jump the Pop bandwagon rather than focus on alternative songs. It was a smart move, actually!

Check out this amazing new single from Maroon 5, with a lyric video to boot:

One More Night's techy ooze and beats are really amazing to the auditory senses. Top it with the hot slapped lyrics focusing on a redemptive and give-it-one-more-chance yet destructive kind of love and everyone with the experience can surely relate. Honestly I can't stop "using my head, using my head" from dancing and my feet from stamping a beat. This is a perfect specimen of good music.

This piece of eargasmic pleasure is a collaborative effort with hit maker Shellback together with songwriters Max Martin and Savan Kotecha. They are certainly a foolproof ingredients for this sure hit musical offering. If only Maroon 5 will continue making this kind of music, then I will have to say they will not have to experience again what they have gone through on their previous album.

Try to get a lot more of new Marron 5 songs when their upcoming album Overexposed hits the music stores next week.

New 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2' Trailer, Plus Sneak Peak

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2

Twihards, or whatever they might call their selves, have not even recovered from the overwhelming excitement brought about by some of the stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 and they are already in for yet another treat: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 teaser trailer.

This was announced over the official Facebook page of The twilight Saga. It said, "The new Breaking Dawn - Part 2 teaser trailer premieres this Wednesday." The said trailer appeared over Yahoo! Movies at 8 o'clock in the morning Eastern Time. It was construed further by an official press release from Summit Entertainment with a promise of a 10-second teaser of the trailer to be released a day ahead..

The same announcement features a still of Bella's bloody eyes, reflecting a sillouette of, most probably, Edward:

Check out full teaser trailer of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2:

Trivia: June 20, 2012 is Edward Cullen's birthday as he was born on June 20, 1901. He is now 111 years old, and Summit honors the said occasion by coinciding the release of the movie trailer. Also, another image was shared together with the trailer's release:

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will focus more on the conflict that the birth of Renesmee may have brought about. This is also the last movie where all loose ends will be covered and if you are a movie maker this is the right opportunity to open premises for spin-offs and unofficial sequels. Hopefully Stephenie Meyer wouldn't allow that, but hearing from the latest news I believe we are in for a reboot of the series...

This movie is directed by Bill Condon, who also directed the first part of Breaking Dawn. The story will definitely pick up where the previous movie left off when Bella almost died giving birth to her daughter, Renesmee. The movie is set for a November 16, 2012 release.

Sigur Rós: The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment Features Strangeness, Nudity, Mosquitoes and a Lot More

Sigur Rós Valtari

Updated: New videos will be added whenever they are released.

Thanks to a female friend who does share a liking for good music, I have come to discover Sigur Rós during the time when I was fed up of Enya and wanted to listen for some other artists of the same genre. She suggested I would take some time and listen to the said band's music and Boom! I was hooked immediately.

I procured a copy of their albums and that was bliss for some time, until their latest album, Valtari, was released. This band from Iceland just saved my failing life with their newest music -- all symphonic and weird. Now as a collective artistic effort, the said band put up The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment. Two to three videos are going to be released every month starting May, coinciding with the album's release, and will conclude on December.

So far there are 8 videos from contributors, plus one other. Check out the output of the said project which features strange dining, nudity from Shia LaBeouf and more:

There will be a total of 17 videos to be expected from the project. The next videos are expected to be released in November and December and it's still a surprise which song will be featured. And as a bonus, here's a track on track commentary of the entire Valtari album:

This is what the band's official website has to say about the project: "Sigur rós have given a dozen film makers the same modest budget and asked them to create whatever comes into their head when they listen to songs from the band's new album Valtari. The idea is to bypass the usual artistic approval process and allow people utmost creative freedom. Among the filmmakers are Ramin bBahrani, Alma Har'el and John Cameron Mitchell.

"We never meant our music to come with a pre-programmed emotional response. We don’t want to tell anyone how to feel and what to take from it. With the films, we have literally no idea what the directors are going to come back with. None of them know what the others are doing, so hopefully it could be interesting."
