EW Showcases Game of Thrones' Royal Portraits: King Joffrey Baratheon And Margaery Tyrell

I know only a handful of you like the arrogant King Joffrey Baratheon, who is played by Jack Gleeson, but we might at least honor him and his soon-to-be Wife Queen Margaery Tyrell, who is in turn played by Natalie Dormer. Straight from the show's Croatian set, the two graces Entertainment Weekly with their prenup pictorial.

Known to most fans as the Purple Wedding, in contrast with the equally disastrous Red Wedding, the two will finally tie the knot, so to speak. But the question is will they ever consummate their marriage and enjoy their first night known as the bedding?

Show some love to Game of Thrones' King Joffrey Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell.

The Weinstein Company Releases The First Official Trailer Of The Giver

Movie adaptation has become the leading and ruling trend of movie making! What happened to movies with original screenplays -- it seems that year after year they are getting fewer and fewer. We can't blame adaptation for that, because in the first lace the original source material already has a following of its own, movie studios only need to create some spark and noise to multiply that number. Less work for them, but more money to come -- only if they did their homework right.

The Giver

Such example of movie adaptation that will follow the steps of Ender's Game is The Giver, which is based on Lois Lowry's bestseller dystopian tale. The movie will star Jeff Bridges, Brenton Thwaites, Meryl Streep, Odeya Rush, Katie Holmes, Alexander Skarsgård, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Tremblay, and don't forget Taylor Swift. It is directed by Phillip Noyce, based on the screenplay written by Michael Mitnick.

Watch with anticipation the new trailer of The Giver.

Synopsis

The haunting story of The Giver centers on Jonas, who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory does he begin to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community. The film is based on Lois Lowry's beloved young adult novel of the same name, which was the winner the 1994 Newbury Medal and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
