Cover Reveal For 'Library Of Souls' (Third Novel Of Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children Series) By Ransom Riggs

One of my much awaited cover reveal of the year is on! The fantastic over of Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs is happening right now. It still follows the usual mix: vintage photo with an eerie subject in the middle of it all.

This is already the third novel in Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children series and I hope it isn't the last. You ask me why? Because it's just so good, having a great story complemented by eerie and sometimes scary vintage photos inside. The way Ransom Riggs weaves these photos into the story makes it even more surreal and appealing. This is not a picture book intended for childrena nd the weak at heart. You are fore-warned.

Katharine McPhee's 'Lick My Lips' Will Make You Click & Finger-Snap To The Beat

It's been a while since we've last heard from Katharine McPhee. I've been nurturing my love for her in the past couple years, especially when she starred at Smash, a musical TV series that was unfortunately axed after it's second season. So I've been longing for a new single or song, much more a new album, from her.

Lick My Lips by Katharine McPhee

And now as a teaser, she has released the first single from her upcoming fourth studio album, Hysteria. Titled Lick My Lips, the song'll definitely make you wanna go with the beat. This new music video has been long in the waiting since she first announced it in her Instagram account last April.

Watch Katharine McPhee in the new Lick My Lips music video.

No further details have been given yet about her fourth studio album, but it will definitely be released on July 21, 2015. The complete list of tracks of Hysteria and what-nots are as of now in the wraps -- locked and sealed. It's been five years since we have a full dose of a studio album from her, so I'm gonna bet it'll gonna be worth the wait.

Synopsis

A master storyteller at his best—the O. Henry Prize winner Stephen King delivers a generous collection of stories, several of them brand-new, featuring revelatory autobiographical comments on when, why, and how he came to write (or rewrite) each story.

Since his first collection, Nightshift, published thirty-five years ago, Stephen King has dazzled readers with his genius as a writer of short fiction. In this new collection he assembles, for the first time, recent stories that have never been published in a book. He introduces each with a passage about its origins or his motivations for writing it.

There are thrilling connections between stories; themes of morality, the afterlife, guilt, what we would do differently if we could see into the future or correct the mistakes of the past. “Afterlife” is about a man who died of colon cancer and keeps reliving the same life, repeating his mistakes over and over again. Several stories feature characters at the end of life, revisiting their crimes and misdemeanors. Other stories address what happens when someone discovers that he has supernatural powers—the columnist who kills people by writing their obituaries in “Obits;” the old judge in “The Dune” who, as a boy, canoed to a deserted island and saw names written in the sand, the names of people who then died in freak accidents. In “Morality,” King looks at how a marriage and two lives fall apart after the wife and husband enter into what seems, at first, a devil’s pact they can win.

Magnificent, eerie, utterly compelling, these stories comprise one of King’s finest gifts to his constant reader—“I made them especially for you,” says King. “Feel free to examine them, but please be careful. The best of them have teeth.”

The Bazaar of Bad Dreams by Stephen King will be released on November 3, 2015.
