#FanMade Cover For 'The Doors Of Stone' By Patrick Rothfuss (The Kingkiller Chronicle Book #3)

Patrick Rothfuss was an instant favorite of mine when I finished reading The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear in one sweep. I preferred reading series in one go, because of my memory condition that triggers me to forget anything in a story after a few months... I like rereading but I prefer reading them all as one before I forget any vital detail and get lost in the succeeding story telling.

The Name of the Wind was released in 2007 and four years later (2011) The Wise Man's Fear followed. And now for the conclusion of The Kingkiller Chronicle, The Doors of Stone, it's already been 4 years and counting and the book isn't out yet. But I am not complaining, who am I to bark or bitch around...? It's a good thing The Slow Regard of Silent Things has temporarily satiated my hunger for the series...

There is one thing I can personally do to make me forget about the upcoming book and that is to create a fan-made cover for it. How paradoxical or ironic... When I am busy crafting I forget whatever is occupying my mind.

Check out the fan-made cover (US edition) I made for The Doors of Stone by Patrick Rothfuss.

There is no official synopsis for the The Doors of Stone yet, but we will know that it will be the third day of Kvothe sharing the story to Chronicler. We will know how he came to be an innkeeper in Newarre after the events of the second book. A lot of loose ends to be clarified and many other arcs of stories to be completed. That seems to be a lot to cover in a single book and some are worried that the last book may be split into parts, therefore extending the series (ala Tad Williams, or George R. R. Martin.)

According to Amazon UK, which is known for posting unreliable release dates for upcoming books, The Doors of Stone by Patrick Rothfuss is set to be released on August 17, 2017.
