'Battle Ground' By Jim Butcher Finally Gets A Glorious Cover

Every fan was surprised when Jim Butcher via the Peace Talks teaser trailer announced that there will be two Dresden Files releases this year. That was when the said book got enormously long so he decided to split the book into two.

The second book in the split will be released a few months after Peace Talks and it will be called Battle Ground. Its official cover has finally been revealed during Penguin Random House’s virtual convention in Reddit under r/Fantasy. As always we have artist Chris McGrath to thank for this glorious art.

Check out the official cover of Battle Ground by Jim Butcher.

'Dragonwatch: Champion Of The Titan Games' By Brandon Mull Official Cover Unveiled

The world is in dark ages once again and our normal lives have been disrupted, forcing us all to cower into the safety our homes. After so many weeks of staying home, boredom surely strikes. But for introverted persons like me we revert back to our hobbies to pass the time. One of these hobbies is reading, but for a person who prefers physical books instead of e-readers we face another issue.

All of my orders and deliveries have either been cancelled or have been returned to the shipper. Such is the fate if your shipping address is in New York or in some other places that are in lock down. These are trivial little things, but we should focus on the bright side in this time and age. If I couldn't get my books then maybe cover revelations could at least make me feel better. And one of these cover revelations is for the fourth book in the Dragonwatch series.

The fourth book in Brandon Mull's Dragonwatch series is called Champion of the Titan Games. It will be released in fall of this year and below is its cover to preempt its fast approaching arrival.

Check out the cover of Dragonwatch: Champion of the Titan Games by Brandon Mull.

#CoverReveal The Eldest Curses: 'The Lost Book Of The White' By Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu

Cassandra Clare has always been so lucky to have her books be graced by wonderful covers. The only problem is they keep on changing branding from edition to edition, and from book to book in a series and that's sometimes frustrating for people with OCD like me. I have to always console my self that it is for the better... But my inner self is not always satisfied!

Sad to say that the second book in The Eldest Curses series suffered the same issue. The covers' branding, layout and cover art style drastically changed, but I can't help it cause the cover of The Lost Book of the White is that good. Can we have a redesigned edition of the first book, The Red Scrolls of Magic, in hardcover as well? The good thing about this redesigned cover is it's trying to be consistent with the covers of her recent releases...

The Lost Book of the White by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu

Synopsis

From #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Cassandra Clare and award-winning author Wesley Chu comes the second book in the Eldest Curses series, which continues the love story between Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood. The Lost Book of the White is a Shadowhunters novel.

Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood are settling into domestic life with their son Max when the warlocks Ragnor Fell and Shinyun Jung break into their loft and steal a powerful spell book. Realizing that Ragnor and Shinyun are being controlled by a more sinister force, Magnus and Alec set out to stop them and recover the book before they can cause any more harm. With the help of Clary Fairchild, Jace Herondale, Isabelle Lightwood, and Simon Lovelace (who is fresh from the Shadowhunter Academy), they track the warlocks to Shanghai.

But nothing is as it seems. Ragnor and Shinyun are working at the behest of a Greater Demon. Their goal is to open a Portal from the demon realms to Earth, flooding the city of Shanghai with dangerous demons. When a violent encounter causes Magnus’s magic to grow increasingly unstable, Alec and Magnus rally their friends to strike at the heart of the demon’s power. But what they find there is far stranger and more nefarious than they ever could have expected...

The Lost Book of the White by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu will be released on September 1, 2020.
