TAK3N: It's Literally And Figuratively Turning Tables In New Taken 3 Official Trailer, Starring Liam Neeson

The final serving of this explosive series brings back the Mills family together once again, but not for long. This time the tables have turned and Bryan Mills is the one being chased by authorities, after he is being suspected for murdering his wife -- which is of course a set-up.

Taken 3

Taken 3 is directed by Olivier Megaton and stars Liam Neeson, Forest Whitaker, Famke Janssen, and Maggie Grace. Also starring Dogray Scott, Sam Spruell, and Leland Orser. The movie was written by Luc Besson & Robert Mark Kamen.

We once savored Bryan's, played by Neeson, famous lines: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. And now the same line is thrown back at him ("If you go down this road, the LEPD, the FBI, the CIA... we're all gonna come for you. They'll find you and they'll stop you.") and he just confidently responds with a crisp "Good Luck."

Watch the new trailer of Taken 3, starring Liam Neeson.

Here are a few images from the movie as well.

Synopsis

Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his “particular set of skills,” to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter.

Taken 3 will hit theaters on January 9, 2015.

Experience A Different Kind Of Gore With Maroon 5's Official Animals Music Video

Creepy is as creepy does... that's basically how you would perceive stalkers these days. In this age where rampant case of stalking fans, predators and commoners are happening online, Maroon 5's latest music video for their single Animals just may well prove how this is still a valid issue and a dangerous one at that.

Animals by Maroon 5

But then again the video doesn't stop from being creepy... If gore and butchery doesn't turn you off, I think you may proceed with caution. Place Adam Levine in the shoe of a predator and a pretty lady, which happens to be his wife, Behati Prinsloo, as the victim and this all new palate from this band will certainly catch you attention.

Watch the new music video for Animals by Maroon 5.

The music video was directed by Samuel Bayer and was released to put some hype on the newly released single. Animals is the second single lifted from the bands fifth studio album, V (pronounced as "five" for its Roman numeral counterpart).

Well... the cover of the single very well gives light to the theme of the song and the music video... if you know what I mean.

Lorde Sings 'Yellow Flicker Beat' For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 Soundtrack

We've all learned, with great acceptance, that Lorde will be curating the soundtrack album of the penultimate movie of The Hunger Games series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. The music lovers in us got excited, because who could ever say no to this Grammy Awards winner singer-songwriter.

Yellow Flicker Beat by Lorde

To kick-off the fast approaching premiere of the movie and the soundtrack itself, Lorde has released one of the track from the movie that she herself has performed and it's called Yellow Flicker Beat. Of course it carries all her signature sound and tune. Be carried away with here trance inducing music...

Listen to Yellow Flicker Beat by Lorde, a soundtrack from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

Lorde shared on her tumblr page her thoughts on the process of bringing this song to fruition:

"i’m sitting up in bed, moving through desert halfway between utah and las vegas. yesterday was our ninth show in eleven days. every night, after i play, and say hi, and take pictures, and i walk up the stairs and we go on our way, i set up in this little bed office. i work from midnight until late on the soundtrack, singing into my computer, listening to demos and final mixes. my bus sleeps. we are almost at the end, the point where this soundtrack gets taken away from me and becomes something real. i’m reminded of this day last year, when pure heroine came out in this country. the feeling of something very solitary that i had worked on spinning around and around further away from me, becoming someone else’s, everyone’s. the past year of my life has seen everything around me multiply in size and number - the stamps on my passport, the number of people i have to ask before i ride on the ferris wheel after my set at a festival, the decibels that follow me when i walk around in public. the other thing that’s grown is me - my fitness, my mental stamina, my ability to think clearly and make decisions - but most of all, my capacity for love. the thousands upon thousands (wait, millions(?!!)) of you who bought pure heroine truly feel like friends to me - it’s no coincidence i’m posting this note here, where i feel the most happy and safe online, the place where i laugh the most and where every day, i feel like people get me. i never knew i could feel such a warm heart for this many people at once. thankyou for hearing about me all those months ago, and sticking around. thank you for being here.

"now, about this song - yellow flicker beat. it’s my first offering from what i hope will be a soundtrack you love. it’s my attempt at getting inside her head, katniss’. i hope you like it."

You can sing along with Lorde's Yellow Flicker Beat using this lyrics. The OST of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 will hit music stores on November 18. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 premieres on November 21, 2014.

Nickelodeon Releases The Legend of Korra, Book 4: Balance Official Trailer

Midway through Legend of Korra, Book 3: Change, I got a little surprised when I heard that the show was cancelled. The show, which is a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender, suffered a gradual decline of viewership over the tube. But fortunately it was only a false alarm, as the creators decided to change medium. Since the show is being received strongly over the net, it was pulled out from Nickelodeon Channel to air online.

The Legend of Korra, Book 4: Balance

As a proof of its getting stable and stronger, the show finishes with a great finale and in a few days time we will be able to enjoy the next and final season of the show, Book 4: Balance. A newly released trailer shows a big change this season as the story draws to a stunning close.

Watch the new trailer of Legend of Korra, Book 4: Balance.

It seems Toph will have a reappearance, just like Zuko in the previous seasons. And Korra getting a makeover, how dope...

Will Korra ever survive and maintain the balance in this ever changing world? Find out as the Legend of Korra, Book 4: Balance premieres on October 3, 2014 only through Nick app and online.

Rick Riordan Names Norse Mythology Series, First Book Out October 2015

The Heroes of Olympus is coming to a close with The Blood of Olympus, to be released on October 7, 2014. But Rick Riordan fans should not go wary with this closing as a new series is coming our way and this time it's all about Norse Mythology.

The revelation was held during the webcast from Mount Olympus (the sensationalized name for the Empire State Building) in conjunction with the release the author's coffee table book, Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, a companion book for his Greek Mythology series and written in Percy Jackson's perspective.

The Norse Mythology series by Rick Riordan is officially revealed as Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. You can see its official logo below.

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard

Notice that the main character, Magnus Chase, sound familiar. That is because in the author's other series we first met Annabeth Chase. Could they be related, separated by birth due to some yet undisclosed circumstance? That sounds very much like how the life of the Kane siblings goes.

But of course the author won't confirm anything as of the moment, leaving as all with brains running to formulate some theories. Here are some official words from Riordan: "And yes, I know what you're wondering. Chase . . . hmm, where have I heard that name before? Isn't that Annabeth's last name? Yes, it is. And no, that's not simply a coincidence. Beyond that, I'm afraid I'll have to leave you guessing."

The title of the first book in the series will be revealed at the last pages of The Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus and it will follow a year after the release of the said book. Cant wait for October 2015 already.

Four of the Most Recognizable and Iconic Movie Lines of All

Movie Time
There are many things that define a great movie, from outstanding acting and special effects to a really exciting, funny or moving plot. Parts of the movie’s dialogue can also elevate a film from forgettable to special. If you find yourself quoting a main character for months after you saw a movie, it’s probably because it movie contains a classic quote. The following four lines are among the most famous, well-known and iconic words ever uttered on the big screen:

“You've got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya punk?”

For fans of both Clint Eastwood and Dirty Harry movies, it’s probably not surprising that this classic quote made Esquire’s list of “Best Manly Movie Quotes.” The 1971 movie was the first in the Dirty Harry series, and featured Eastwood as an inspector for the San Francisco Police Department. Fans loved it and even broke out in applause when Eastwood’s character cornered a bad guy and practically growled “You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya punk?”

“Hasta la vista, baby”

This quote from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s title character in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is so famous, it’s got its on Wikipedia page. The line quickly caught on as a catch phrase and is still being used today by everyone from kids playing video games to adults who loved the movie.

Schwarzenegger even used the line again during his political career; during the 1992 Republican primaries, he suggested voters figuratively tell Pat Buchanan “Hasta la vista, baby” by voting for George Bush. Die-hard Terminator and motorcycle fans who want to look the part as they try to imitate Schwarzenegger’s accent and famous line may want to find some serious accessories that will help them bring out their inner Ah-nold.

“Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore”

In AFI’s list of the top 100 movie quotes from the past century, this gem that was spoken by Judy Garland’s character Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz" came in at number four. The 1939 movie is chock full of plenty of other quotable moments — after all, it’s virtually impossible to say “lions, tigers and bears” without at least one person responding “oh my!” — but this iconic line is especially classic.

“You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat”

As Xfinity notes the most famous quote from “Jaws” wasn’t even part of the script. Actor Roy Scheider apparently improvised this great line the first time he saw how enormous his aquatic nemesis was. In classic Steven Spielberg style, the trio of shark hunters — who also included Richard Dreyfuss’s character and a World War II vet played by Robert Shaw — were on the prowl for the menacing shark that had not yet been fully seen by the audience. When Scheider’s character, police chief Martin Brody, finally got a full glimpse of the shark, he ad libbed the frequently quoted line, all while keeping his cigarette firmly between his lips. The line is still used today by people who may not have even seen the movie, but appreciate the meaning behind the words.

The Massive Tapestry Art Of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Has Been Revealed

Since the beginning of the series, The Hobbit movies have these wonderful and massive tapestry to summarize the story in one picture. It is more like a trailer on its own. We've seen the tapestries for both The Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug before and now we are going to see one for the final movie, The Battle of the Five Armies. You all know what these means, a barrage of promotional materials will be coming our way in the very near feature.

Academy Award-winning Peter Jackson directs this star-studded finale to an epic fantasy based on the works by J.R.R. Tolkien. The movie stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Evangeline Lilly, John Bell, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans, Stephen Fry, Ryan Gage, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, Stephen Hunter, William Kircher, Sylvester McCoy, Graham McTavish, Michael Mizrahi, James Nesbitt, Dean O’Gorman, Lee Pace, Mikael Persbrandt, Ken Stott, and Aidan Turner among many others.

I have cut out the picture to separate each scene from the tapestry of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Just enjoy these wonderful art that will eventually be combined as one at the end.

It'll be dope if you could name each scene and what they represent.

Bedtime Blues: Suggestions for Better Sleep

Bedtime Blues
When was the last time you found yourself in the middle of a 1 a.m. Netflix binge on a Tuesday? Finished your last cup of coffee at 4 in the afternoon? Ate a big dinner after 7 p.m.? If you answered recently, but not regularly, you’re probably OK. If you answered every day this week, it’s time to admit you have a problem. Your daytime habits affect your nighttime abilities to fall asleep and stay asleep, so kick the bedtime blues by following any of these three suggestions:

Get Into a Routine

As humans, we like to form habits. Whether it’s reading the news with your breakfast or taking the same route to work, we all have our daily routines. While your mornings may be consistent, how do you spend your evenings? Do you bounce back and forth between late nights at the office and early nights in? The first step to starting a healthy habit is cutting out activities that often lead you astray. Consider investing in an activity tracker to document your movements and see how they affect your overall sleeping patterns. When you see that on nights you walked the dog you got better sleep than on nights you watched extra hours of TV, it will most definitely fuel your habit-changing fire.

Lose the Light

From harsh street lights to blinking computer screens, most types of light can threaten your good nights’ sleep by suppressing the secretion of melatonin. Additionally, according to a 2012 Harvard health study, blue light emitted from electronics and energy-efficient bulbs may be especially damaging. Blue wavelengths are great for helping boost our mood, focus our attention and increase our reaction time, which obviously are the reasons why blue light is bad for our brains right before bed.

To better manage nighttime light, control your bedroom environment. Do any last-minute email checks or Facebook updates outside the bedroom door. Invest in custom curtains that can block any outside light pollution. Keep the TV in the living room. Once you succeed at getting unwanted light out, think about bringing appropriate light in. For example, consider a bedside clock that uses light to simulate the sun and gradually gets brighter before your alarm is set to go off.

Set the Mood with Music

There are several stages of sleep your body must travel through before reaching REM sleep, which is the most restorative and relaxing stage of sleep. If you’re like most insomniacs, the first stage, or the first five to 10 minutes you lie with your eyes shut, is the hardest.

If you can’t relax or clear your head, start the night right with soothing sounds that allow you to concentrate on something other than your stressful day. Apps like Relax Melodies allow you to choose from nature-sound playlists like thunderstorms or winding rivers. If you need something more, try the self-hypnosis meditation app Relax & Sleep. Featuring British clinical hypnotherapist Glenn Harrold, this app offers 27 minutes worth of free audio clips. If you consistently set the mood with music, soothing sounds will remind your mind that it's time for some shut-eye, which guarantees you a better night of sleep.

Red Queen's War: The Liar's Key By Mark Lawrence, My First Foray To Making Fan Covers

Mark Lawrence, the author of the The Broken Empire trilogy and the ongoing Red Queen's War trilogy, has been making some rounds with fan contests for some time now. From picture manipulation, photo contests and fan-made covers, he has done it almost all -- even video editing.

Of course, I am trying my best to join whenever I could and the recently launched contest for making a fan cover for The Liar's Key is certainly one for me, considering I am trying to practice my Photoshop skills.

I have made covers inspired by the US and UK editions of the first book in the Red Queen's War, the Prince of Fools. I just submitted my US edition to the contest, and the winner is yet to be announced. Since only one entry per contestant is allowed, my UK edition is just here for fun.
