'Origin' By Dan Brown Gets Tremendously Underwhelming Official Cover, Synopsis, And Teaser Trailer

I am not bitter because I joined the Origin Cover Contest and didn't make it to the final or top six designs... but after getting all those hype and marketing for Dan Brown's next explosive novel I feel so tremendously underwhelmed after seeing the official cover. The contestants were given a few weeks to do a fan art cover, and I think most of them could take a run from Doubleday's art department. That's just my opinion, though.

As a redeeming factor we got a very twisty official synopsis for Origin and we are journeying to Spain among many other riddle-ridden locations. A new teaser trailer has also been released and I just can wait for the October release anymore.

Check out the cover of Origin by Dan Brown.

Origin by Dan Brown

You could watch the book's teaser trailer below.

Here are a few international covers as well, especially for Uk and Spain.

The stunningly inventive new novel from the world’s most popular thriller writer

Bilbao, Spain

Robert Langdon, Harvard professor of symbology and religious iconology, arrives at the ultramodern Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend a major announcement—the unveiling of a discovery that “will change the face of science forever.” The evening’s host is Edmond Kirsch, a forty-year-old billionaire and futurist whose dazzling high-tech inventions and audacious predictions have made him a renowned global figure. Kirsch, who was one of Langdon’s first students at Harvard two decades earlier, is about to reveal an astonishing breakthrough . . . one that will answer two of the fundamental questions of human existence.

As the event begins, Langdon and several hundred guests find themselves captivated by an utterly original presentation, which Langdon realizes will be far more controversial than he ever imagined. But the meticulously orchestrated evening suddenly erupts into chaos, and Kirsch’s precious discovery teeters on the brink of being lost forever. Reeling and facing an imminent threat, Langdon is forced into a desperate bid to escape Bilbao. With him is Ambra Vidal, the elegant museum director who worked with Kirsch to stage the provocative event. Together they flee to Barcelona on a perilous quest to locate a cryptic password that will unlock Kirsch’s secret.

Navigating the dark corridors of hidden history and extreme religion, Langdon and Vidal must evade a tormented enemy whose all-knowing power seems to emanate from Spain’s Royal Palace itself . . . and who will stop at nothing to silence Edmond Kirsch. On a trail marked by modern art and enigmatic symbols, Langdon and Vidal uncover clues that ultimately bring them face-to-face with Kirsch’s shocking discovery . . . and the breathtaking truth that has long eluded us.

Origin is Dan Brown’s most brilliant and entertaining novel to date.

Origin by Dan brown will be released on October 3, 2017.

Cover Reveal: Magnus Chase And The Gods Of Asgard: The Ship Of The Dead by Rick Riordan

The finale of the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard series is looming in the horizon and it's not coming any faster than I should have anticipated. This series is by far my most favorite Rick Riordan Tales, even better than Percy Jackson's and Jason Grace's yarns.

This book, which is the third in the series, is called The Ship of the Dead and I am really hoping that this will not be the last that will see Magnus Chase and the usual gang. And for your satisfaction the official cover of the said book has been revealed along with some Rick Riordan Presents news over at Publisher's Weekly.

Check out this fantastic cover of Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Ship of the Dead. Once again the art was crafted by the ever-surprising John Rocco.

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan

And speaking of the ship of the dead, which may refer to Naglfar or Naglfari, here is what Wikipedia has to say about it.

Naglfar or Naglfari is a boat made entirely from the fingernails and toenails of the dead. During the events of Ragnarök, Naglfar is foretold to sail to Vígríðr, ferrying hordes that will do battle with the gods.

Magnus Chase, a once-homeless teen, is a resident of the Hotel Valhalla and one of Odin's chosen warriors. As the son of Frey, the god of summer, fertility, and health, Magnus isn't naturally inclined to fighting. But he has strong and steadfast friends, including Hearthstone the elf, Blitzen the dwarf, and Samirah the Valkyrie, and together they have achieved brave deeds, such as defeating Fenris Wolf and battling giants for Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. Now Magnus and his crew must sail to the farthest borders of Jotunheim and Niflheim in pursuit of Asgard's greatest threat. Will they succeed in their perilous journey, or is Ragnarok lurking on the horizon?

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan will hit bookstores on October 3, 2017.

#FanMade: Cover Art For 'Lethal White' By Robert Galbraith (Cormoran Strike Book 4, US And UK Editions)

A few days ago J.K. Rowling started a guessing game in twitter that fueled my excitement for the fourth Cormoran Strike book. She let millions of her fans guess the official title of the said book with the following clues:

There were a lot of brilliant guesses, and the funny ones are almost uncountable... Until one Big Daddy guessed it right: Lethal White. This initiated some more frenzy among the fandom and I am not surprised because the Cormoran Strike novels are such a very good and enjoyable read. I really have to satiate my hunger for the said book and only creating fan-made covers for it will I ever have some mental peace.

Check out the fan-made covers I created for Legal White by Robert Galbraith (a pseudonym of J.K. Rowling). I did my best to be true to the original designs of the first three books in the series.

No official release date has been set yet, much less the teasing synopsis. Robert Galbraith is still writing and working hard on it. Only some chapters have been finished and there will be more drafts after that. Hopefully we can expect a late 2017 release in the latest.

Cover Reveal: 'Oathbringer' (Stormlight Archive Book 3) By Brandon Sanderson Gets Different Yet Interesting Layout

The books in Stormlight Archive are not just showcasing beautifully written epic wonders, but they also feature art works by different artists that author Brandon Sanderson liked. Each book features a couple of new artists and they add more character and color to the book.

The art for the third book in the said series is no exception. The cover has been revealed and it is nothing short as interesting. The art for the cover (along with some of the internal illustrations) was crafted by Michael Whelan, and you can see more of the process in this post.

Check out the cover for the third book in the Stormlight Archive, Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson.

Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson

You can check this cover side by side the first two covers.

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

Words of Radiance

The only issue the OCD demon in me found is the change in the layout, which makes it interesting. After having a female (not objectified) character in the cover why did the art department decided to slightly change the layout, putting the title at the bottom of the page, This is different to the first two male dominated covers in the series. Why, h why?

In general, there is no question that the cover is stunning! I just only hope the OCD monster will keep quiet.

The eagerly awaited sequel to the #1 New York Times bestselling Words of Radiance, from epic fantasy author Brandon Sanderson at the top of his game.

In Oathbringer, the third volume of the New York Times bestselling Stormlight Archive, humanity faces a new Desolation with the return of the Voidbringers, a foe with numbers as great as their thirst for vengeance.

Dalinar Kholin’s Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost: The enemy Parshendi summoned the violent Everstorm, which now sweeps the world with destruction, and in its passing awakens the once peaceful and subservient parshmen to the horror of their millennia-long enslavement by humans. While on a desperate flight to warn his family of the threat, Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with the fact that the newly kindled anger of the parshmen may be wholly justified.

Nestled in the mountains high above the storms, in the tower city of Urithiru, Shallan Davar investigates the wonders of the ancient stronghold of the Knights Radiant and unearths dark secrets lurking in its depths. And Dalinar realizes that his holy mission to unite his homeland of Alethkar was too narrow in scope. Unless all the nations of Roshar can put aside Dalinar’s blood-soaked past and stand together―and unless Dalinar himself can confront that past―even the restoration of the Knights Radiant will not prevent the end of civilization.

Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson will be released on November 14, 2017.

Cover Reveal: 'The Seven' (Book 3 Of The Vagrant Trilogy) By Peter Newman

I've been waiting for the unveiling of the cover of Peter Newman's final The Vagrant trilogy book, called The Seven, for months. Ever since The Vagrant open my eyes to a new kind of dark world I've been dying to know what's going to happen next. I am currently half way through the second book called The Malice.

I was assuming that cover should be revealed a few months prior to the book's actual release and yet I just realized that the UK editions do their cover reveal one month prior. I think that adds more thrill to the UK readership, but I don't think it would be applicable to the demographics on the other side of the world.

Check out the cover of The Seven by Peter Newman with cover art by Jaime Jones.

The Seven by Peter Newman

‘An exciting new writer – sharp, compelling and original.’ ~ Mark Lawrence

Years have passed since the Vagrant journeyed to the Shining City, Vesper in arm and Gamma’s sword in hand.

Since then the world has changed. Vesper, following the footsteps of her father, journeyed to the breach and closed the tear between worlds, protecting the last of humanity, but also trapping the infernal horde and all those that fell to its corruptions: willing or otherwise.

In this new age it is Vesper who leads the charge towards unity and peace, with seemingly nothing standing between the world and a bright new future.

That is until eyes open.

And The Seven awaken.

The Seven by Peter Newman will be released on April 20, 2017.

Cover Reveal: 'Camino Island' by John Grisham (His Thirtieth Novel, So Far)

I might have completed all of John Grisham's legal thriller novels, but I am still far from reading all of them. My pile of John Grisham to-read list is getting even higher, especially now that he is about to publish his 30th novel called Camino Island.

In fact, he will not be publishing only one novel for his adult readership this year, but two! This one will be released this summer and if you are used to reading a Grisham book every October don't worry because his next untitled legal thriller will be available by then.

Check out the official cover of Camino Island by John Grisham. I am just delighted the that popular John Grisham cover designs and typeset are back.

Camino Island by John Grisham

A gang of thieves stages a daring heist from a secure vault deep below Princeton University’s Firestone Library. Their loot is priceless, but Princeton has insured it for twenty-five million dollars.

Bruce Cable owns a popular bookstore in the sleepy resort town of Santa Rosa on Camino Island in Florida. He makes his real money, though, as a prominent dealer in rare books. Very few people know that he occasionally dabbles in the black market of stolen books and manuscripts.

Mercer Mann is a young novelist with a severe case of writer’s block, who has recently been laid off from her teaching position. She is approached by an elegant, mysterious woman working for an even more mysterious company. A generous offer of money convinces Mercer to go undercover and infiltrate Bruce Cable’s circle of literary friends, ideally getting close enough to him to learn his secrets.

But eventually Mercer learns far too much, and there’s trouble in paradise as only John Grisham can deliver it.

Camino Island by John Grisham will be released on June 06, 2017.

The Draconis Memoria: 'The Legion Of Flame' By Anthony Ryan Gets A Beautiful Official US Cover

A while ago, to quench and purge me of my waiting anxiety, I created some fan-made covers for The Legion of Flame, the second book in Anthony Ryan's dragon-plagued second franchise, The Draconis Memoria. I pictured it was red, owing to the pattern for primary color-schemed trilogies. But the official cover, which was released just now, blew me away!

I praise the art department of Ace and Roc that made the cover better than I expected. I am always delighted to find the publisher's art department step up and surpass their previous works. I mentioned somewhere that I am a sucker for OCD inducing designs and I am inexplicably easily drawn by color blue!

Check out the cover of The Legion of Flame by Anthony Ryan.

Cinematic adaptations, renditions, and remakes are a hit in this day and age. That is why Warner Bros wants to grab this almost fool-proof formula to make blockbuster hits. The studio has released a new trailer of one of their next outing, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, filled with epic action, thrilling and mysterious storyline, heavy-duty cast and Led Zeppelin’s Babe I’m Gonna Leave You. Cover Reveal: An Echo Of Things To Come (The Licanius Trilogy Book 2) By James Islington

One of my recent book haul is The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington. I haven't started reading it yet. I was easily convinced to buy it because of the quote at the back of the book: "Love The Wheel of Time? This is about to become your new favorite series." - B&N SF & Fantasy Blog. I love Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series so it is a no-brainer decision if the blurb is to be relied upon.

I was glad to hear that this book is the first of a trilogy called The Licanius Trilogy. And I was even more excited that I have pre-ordered the second book in the series called An Echo of Things to Come. Just recently the official cover of the sequel has been unveiled. Thanks to Dominick Saponaro for this simplistic illustration and Lauren Panepinto for the continuity-inducing jacket design.

Check the official cover of An Echo of Things to Come by James Islington.

An Echo of Things to Come by James Islington

The second book in a glorious new fantasy trilogy by the next major force in commercial epic fantasy.

In the wake of the devastating attack on Ilin Illan, an amnesty has been declared for all Augurs - finally allowing them to emerge from hiding and openly oppose the dark forces massing against Andarra. However as Davian and his new allies hurry north toward the ever-weakening Boundary, fresh horrors along their path suggest that their reprieve may have come far too late.

In the capital, Wirr is forced to contend with assassins and an increasingly hostile Administration as he controversially assumes the mantle of Northwarden, uncovering a mystery that draws into question everything commonly believed about the rebellion his father led twenty years ago. Meanwhile, Asha begins a secret investigation into the disappearance of the Shadows, determined to discover not only where they went but the origin of the Vessels that created them - and, ultimately, a cure.

And with time against him as he races to fulfill the treacherous bargain with the Lyth, Caeden continues to wrestle with the impossibly heavy burdens of his past. Yet as more and more of his memories return, he begins to realise that the motivations of the two sides in this ancient war may not be as clear-cut as they first seemed...

Brandon Mull's Final 'Five Kingdoms' Book Gets A Flashy New Cover, And Official Title And Release Date

After a long hiatus due to conflicts with the publications of Dragonwatch and this book, the final book in the Five Kingdoms series by Brandon Mull is finally coming to an end. From the beginning we already know that this is a five-book series, despite the typo that the author made on his note at the very first book in the series.

Five Kingdoms, all encompassed in five books, will conclude with Time Jumpers. I bet this will play a great part on how Cole and his friends will ever get back to our dimension (or if they ever wanted to at the end of the story). The cover has just been released as well as a teasing synopsis.

Check out the cover of Time Jumpers (Five Kingdoms # 5) by Brandon Mull.

Time Jumpers by Brandon Mull

Trapped in a world where magic is powerful and dreams are real, Cole’s epic adventure comes to a close in book five of the New York Times bestselling “fanciful, action-packed adventure” series (Publishers Weekly, starred review), from the author of the Fablehaven and Beyonders series.

Cole and his friends are pushed to the limit in this finale to the bestselling Five Kingdoms series.

Will they finally be able to restore magic to the world of the Outskirts and find their way back home?

Time Jumpers by Brandon Mull will be released on October 24, 2017.

Paramount Pictures Unleashes 'Ghost In The Shell' Full-Length Theatrical Trailer, Starring Scarlett Johansson

Movie adaptation of anime and manga have a hit-or-miss business of the recent years. That is why the skepticism and anxiety does not got when I hear some of my favorites will have to go through this process. What if it will become another unsavory rip-off? But of course, one is still hoping that it will turn out very good.

Ghost in the Shell

One such project is the Hollywood adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. This Rupert Sanders-directed movie stars Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche, Michael Pitt. A new trailer has just been released and somehow it still left me undecided.

Checkout the new full -length trailer of Ghost in the Shell.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Gets New Movie Poster And Trailer

The fifth franchise of Pirates of the Caribbean is coming our way and who wouldn't be excited about it. This is the longest we have to wait after the last movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, hit cinemas in 2011. Don't be surprised if the stories have become disjointed since the fourth movie. What can you expect from sequels that have no direct connection from the original trilogy and may have been loosely based on a pirate novel set in an entirely different world.

This Joachim Rønning- and Espen Sandberg-directed movie stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites, Kaya Scodelario, and Geoffrey Rush. And based from the trailer Orlando Bloom is back and I wouldn't be surprised if some of our favorite characters from the past will have some cameos as well.

Check out the poster of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Watch the movie's new trailer below.

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack. Jack's only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Taleswill hit cinemas on May 26, 2017.

Cover Reveal: 'The Witchwood Crown' (The Last King of Osten Ard Book 1) By Tad Williams

My copy of The Heart of What Was Lost, the bridge between Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn and The Last King of Osten Ard series, is still halfway around the world. I've been eagerly waiting for it since I pre-ordered it. MY excitement just multiplied numerous times when the first book of The Last King of Osten Ard, called The Witchwood Crown, is also coming at hand. No there are many that I could look forward to.

The said book will be released this year and the cover art has just been unveiled. Once again it features an art by Michael Whelan. But the sword that I was expecting to see (the pattern of the original series' redesigned covers as well as the bridge novel) is replaced by Hjeldin’s Tower.

Check out the cover of The Witchwood Crown by Tad Williams.

The Witchwood Crown by Tad Williams

Head over to Tor.com for more information.

The Dragonbone Chair, the first volume of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, was published in hardcover in October, 1988, launching the series that was to become one of the seminal works of modern epic fantasy. Many of today’s top-selling fantasy authors, from Patrick Rothfuss to George R. R. Martin to Christopher Paolini credit Tad with being the inspiration for their own series.

Now, twenty-four years after the conclusion of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, Tad returns to his beloved universe and characters with The Witchwood Crown, the first novel in the long-awaited sequel trilogy, The Last King of Osten Ard.

Thirty years have passed since the events of the earlier novels, and the world has reached a critical turning point once again. The realm is threatened by divisive forces, even as old allies are lost, and others are lured down darker paths. Perhaps most terrifying of all, the Norns—the long-vanquished elvish foe—are stirring once again, preparing to reclaim the mortal-ruled lands that once were theirs….

Cover Reveal: 'The Stone In The Skull' By Elizabeth Bear, With Cover Art By Richard Anderson

I was saddened when my supposed to be birthday gift for last year was cancelled or postponed. Yes, I am talking about The Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch (I am not bitching or complaining, I am simply saddened)... It hurts when his originally set publication date has to be scrapped, but one good thing about this author is marrying his fellow fantasy author, Elizabeth Bear.

Now, don't let Lynch shadow over Elizabeth Bear as she has the chops to be known and famous on her own right. I first heard of her when Karen Memory was released, but even before then she already has a worthy fandom when she released The Eternal Sky trilogy. And I am hoping that her new novel, The Stone in the Skull, will totally put me on board the wagon this time. It will be the first book in the Lotus Kingdoms series set in the same world as the Eternal Sky series. Just check out the cover of said new and upcoming book with cover art crafted by Richard Anderson.

I am always fascinated by the works of Richard Anderson (aka flaptraps art). From the covers of Dinosaur Lords series by Victor Milan, to Brian Staveley's Chronicle of the Unhewn Throne -- and to many other stunning covers -- these covers give off a surreal feel to it adding to the mystery of the story. I like it when the facial features of the chacracters in the cover are vague, leaving off a bit of imagination for the readers.

Checkout the cover of The Stone in the Skull by Elizabeth Bear.

The Stone in the Skull by Elizabeth Bear

The Gage is a brass automaton created by a wizard of Messaline around the core of a human being. His wizard is long dead, and he works as a mercenary. He is carrying a message from a the most powerful sorcerer of Messaline to the Rajni of the Lotus Kingdom. With him is The Dead Man, a bitter survivor of the body guard of the deposed Uthman Caliphate, protecting the message and the Gage. They are friends, of a peculiar sort.

They are walking into a dynastic war between the rulers of the shattered bits of a once great Empire.

The Stone in the Skull by Elizabeth Bear will be released on October 10, 2017. You can read more on Tor.com.

'The Empty Grave' Continues Or Ends Lockwood & Company Series By Jonathan Stroud

I am really looking forward to how the Lockwood & Company series fares -- especially wanting to know the fates of Lookwood, Lucy, George and Holly (and don't forget their now colleague Quill Kipps). Only I am a little anxious after hearing a few months ago that this will be the last book in the series. I almost thought we are not even halfway through the series, because there are still much to learn in this believable, creepy, and scary -- yet exciting -- world.

This series moves on with the fifth book called The Empty Grave and it will be published just in time for my birthday this year. This could be a wonderful gift idea. I just need anyone to confirm that this isn't the last book in the series, please. So far no official cover has been released yet, but the synopsis has already been revealed, and you can read it below.

Lockwood & Co.

Five months after the events in THE CREEPING SHADOW, we join Lockwood, Lucy, George, Holly, and their associate Quill Kipps on a perilous night mission: they have broken into the booby-trapped Fittes Mausoleum, where the body of the legendary psychic heroine Marissa Fittes lies. Or does it?

This is just one of the many questions to be answered in Book 5 of the Lockwood & Co. series. Will Lockwood ever reveal more about his family's past to Lucy? Will their trip to the Other Side leave Lucy and Lockwood forever changed? Will Penelope Fittes succeed in shutting down their agency forever? The young agents must survive attacks from foes both spectral and human before they can take on their greatest enemy in a climactic and chaotic battle. And to prevail they will have to rely on help from some surprising--and shadowy--allies.

Jonathan Stroud once again delivers a rousing adventure full of danger, laughs, twists, and frights. The revelations will send readers back to Book 1 to start the series all over again.

The Empty Grave (Lockwood & Co. Book 5) by Jonathan Stroud will be released on September 12, 2017.

Malka Ann Older's Second Centenal Cycle Book, Null States, Gets Official Cover And Synopsis

I think it is safe to say that I started enjoying cyberpunk through Eoin Colfer, especially on his Supernaturalist book... and could the Artemis Fowl books be considered as well? Working in the IT industry makes me long for stories that have somethings to do with my field as they triggered the techie spirit animal in me.

Malka Older's Infomocracy is a breakthrough hit on this field and it's a no brainer to not even/at least consider reading it. One would almost think it is a stand alone novel and what a delight it is to discover that it will have a sequel called Null States.

Check out the cover of Null States (Centenal Cycle #2) by Malka Older.

Cover Reveal: 'Age of Swords: Book Two of The Legends of the First Empire' by Michael J. Sullivan

I got to admit I am new to the works by Michael J. Sullivan, but that does not mean I wouldn't want to jump in and immerse my self into his epic worlds. With that said I've been greatly considering buying and then reading Age of Myth, the first book in his The Legends if the First Empire series. I see some great reviews of it, but I am yet a little hesitant...

My resolve has been hardened lately when I saw the cover of the second book in the series called Age of Swords. It's simplistic design is all for me. So I said to my self that I will buy both books at the same time and hopefully be patient enough to wait for books three through five. (I told you that bluish covers -- this time bluish green -- just draws me in... I can't help my self.)

Age of Swords: Book Two of The Legends of the First Empire by Michael J. Sullivan

The gods have been proven mortal and new heroes will arise as the battle continues in the sequel to Age of Myth.

In Age of Myth, fantasy master Michael J. Sullivan launched readers on an epic journey of magic and adventure, heroism and betrayal, love and loss. Now the thrilling saga continues as the human uprising is threatened by powerful enemies from without—and bitter rivalries within.

Raithe, the God Killer, may have started the rebellion by killing a Fhrey, but long-standing enmities dividing the Rhune make it all but impossible to unite against a common foe. And even if the clans can join forces, how will they defeat an enemy whose magical prowess makes the Fhrey indistinguishable from gods?

The answer lies across the sea in a faraway land populated by a reclusive and dour race who feels nothing but disdain for both Fhrey and mankind. With time running out, Persephone leads the gifted young seer Suri, the Fhrey sorceress Arion, and a small band of misfits in a desperate search for aid—a quest that will take them into the darkest depths of Elan. There, an ancient adversary waits—an enemy as surprising as it is deadly.

Age of Swords: Book Two of The Legends of the First Empire by Michael J. Sullivan will be released on June 20, 2017.
