Monsters of Ohio by John Scalzi
Synopsis
Monsters of Ohio is a heartfelt exploration of a tentacular solution to the struggles of the modern world from the New York Times bestselling author of Starter Villain
In many ways Richland, Ohio is the same tiny, sleepy rural village it has been for the last 150 years: The same families, the same farms, the same heartland beliefs and traditions that have sustained it for generations. But right now times are especially hard, as social and economic forces inside and outside the community roil the surface of the once-placid town.
Richland, in other words, is primed to explode... just not the way that anyone anywhere could ever have expected. And when things do explode, well, that’s when things start getting really weird.
Mike Boyd left Richland decades back, to find his own way in the world. But when he is called back to his hometown to tie up some loose ends, he finds more going on than he bargained for, and is caught up in a sequence of events that will bring this tiny farm village to the attention of the entire world... and, perhaps, spell its doom.
Monsters of Ohio by John Scalzi will be released on November 3, 2026.
Brona: The First Druids of Shannara by Terry Brooks and Delilah S. Dawson
Synopsis
Return to the world of Shannara with the sequel to Galaphile, and discover how the seeds of the greatest evil that the Four Lands has ever known inadvertently grew out of Galaphile's dream for peace—from New York Times bestselling authors Terry Brooks and Delilah S. Dawson.
Years have passed since Galaphile Joss and his life partner Nirianne established Paranor as a way to bring harmony to the Four Lands. Now, their two sons are growing to men in a land of peace and plenty. Admittedly, it is a land that their eldest child, Abronja, finds rather boring. At sixteen, he longs for a way to prove himself—a chance to show he is every bit the equal of his famous father. But when the excitement he has been longing for materializes, it is in the form of an old evil: a dark sorcerer whom his father had defeated, but not destroyed. And who is now back, stronger and more deadly than ever.
It is an evil whose return Galaphile always dreaded—and not just because of what it means for the wider world. His beloved son Abronja was conceived while the dark sorcerer had control of Nirianne, and Galaphile has always feared the sorcerer's influence on the boy.
Abronja, for his part, knows he has never been corrupted by evil. He is fully committed to his father's vision for peace, and is determined to make his name by finally destroying the evil that has so blighted his family. But tangling with dark magic is not a thing to be taken lightly—especially for a young man as yet untested in the ways of magic and the world. Because the repercussions of this encounter could have repercussions for centuries to come.
Brona: The First Druids of Shannara by Terry Brooks and Delilah S. Dawson will be released on August 25, 2026.

Scion by James Islington
Synopsis
John Wick meets Blade Runner in this fast-paced cyberpunk thriller by the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Will of the Many and The Strength of the Few.
My job, when you think about it, isn’t so different from a lot of people’s.
The more old-fashioned crowd do still get hung up on the "killing people" part of it, I guess, but that’s a them problem: it’s been perfectly legal to take out lifers for ages. Besides, once ultrawealthy morons realised they had a way to live forever—limited resources be damned—there was only ever going to be one genuinely practical deterrent.
So, sure, I have to deal with a ton of boring planning. Inconvenient hours. Some pretty awkward face-to-face interactions. And like most of us, I’m really only clocking in to try to crawl out from beneath my debts. But someone’s got to do it.
Luckily, my genetic compatibilities make me really, really good at doing it.
Still. This next job... I don’t know. It’s something I haven’t had to deal with in years. Kind of the opposite of my regular duties. Strange, that it got thrown my way.
I’m sure it’ll all go totally fine though.
Scion by James Islington will be released on September 1, 2026.

Victor von Doom was never one to simply accept his fate. He swept his way across the vast labyrinth of the Multiverse, altering the course of universe after universe. But their sacrifice was one he was willing to make. Every new world granted him the means to conquer his destiny and embrace something bigger than himself, a fate beyond the confines of his own reality. And at long last he has the final piece he needs to uncover the whereabouts of the person this was all for: a boy named Franklin.
America Chavez and Kitty Pryde are battered and broken. Thrown together by the wreckage of a shattered universe, they realize that even with the Phoenix Force barely contained within Kitty, they need a team. A team who has as much skin in the game as they do. So America must gather the nexus beings that survived Doom—Loki, the Scarlet Witch, and Venom-Moon Knight—to make one last stand.
Love is an immutable constant in all of reality. But it also is the catalyst for the greatest change. Taking up arms as Avengers of the Multiverse, the group must give up their comfort and security to find Franklin Richards before Doom. Can they save all of reality, or must they avenge everyone they’ve ever loved?
Marvel: What If... The Multiverse Was Doomed? by DaVaun Sanders will be released on August 4, 2026.
