Meet The 5 Emotionally Wonderful Characters Of Disney Pixar's Inside Out In These New Posters

On it's 15th feature-length presentation Disney Pixar takes us to a realm no stranger to us: inside our selves... Or inside the main character's mind and heart, that is, as we explore the emotions that govern our daily lives.

Academy Award-winning director Pete Docter, who gave us Monsters, Inc. and Up, takes the directorial once again with Ronnie del Carmen second in command. Joy voiced by Amy Poehler, Fear by Bill Hader, Anger by Lewis Black, Disgust by Mindy Kaling and Sadness by Phyllis Smith take center stage in this yet again colorful and emotional adventure.

Here are the emotions that might be playing around inside you -- meet the characters of Disney Pixar's Inside Out.

Amy Poehler as Joy

Lewis Blask as Anger

Mindy Kaling as Disgust

Bill Hader as Fear

Phyllis Smith as Sadness

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions — Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

Inside Out, a major emotion picture, comes to cinemas on June 19, 2015.
