In a few weeks we're going to witness the come back movie of The Matrix star, Keanu Reeves. Being one of my personal favorites this Yuletide season, 47 Ronin will surely become a fantastic cinematic experience, if only it won't be delayed by the MMFF this year.
Directed by Carl Erik Rinsch and based on the screenplay by Chris Morgan and Hossein Amini, 47 Ronin stars Keanu Reeves, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kou Shibasaki, Tadanobu Asano and Rinko Kikuchi with Universal Pictures helming the production.

Synopsis
From ancient Japan's most enduring tale, the epic 3D fantasy-adventure "47 Ronin" is born. Keanu Reeves leads the cast as Kai, an outcast who joins Oishi (Hiroyuki Sanada), the leader of the 47 Ronin. Together they seek vengeance upon the treacherous overlord who killed their master and banished their kind. To restore honor to their homeland, the warriors embark upon a quest that challenges them with a series of trials that would destroy ordinary warriors.
47 Ronin will hit cinemas on December 25, 2013 in standard 2D and digital 3D format.
