This 27-year old English beauty that was once a part of The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has now moved on to play roles other than the kick ass Elizabeth Swann. She is once again playing a role in a period movie, where the cast is burdened by the heavy but gorgeous attires of the 19th century.
For her latest acting gig she will be playing a title character based on a published work, Anna Karenina. Knightley is not new to playing roles adapted from classic novels. She was once played another main character named Elizabeth (surnamed Bennet) for the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress in the Academy Awards.
