Watch Robert De Niro & Michelle Pfeiffer Become Models Of Violence In The Family Red Band Trailer

There is nothing really more attractive than common household actors performing some new acting chops. Once you associate them as general audience friendly, your mind is sometimes surprised to see them do things young children are not supposed to see, much less influence them to do the same. Talk about versatility.

Take Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer, for example. I used to watch them in some dramatic and even comedic movies (with some parental-guidance-needed movies), but to see them as hosts of full-blown violence and awesome coolness brings out the helpless nerdy in me.

Watch the new red band trailer of The Family starring Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Dianna Agron.

Synopsis

The Family

A mafia boss and his family are relocated to a sleepy town in France under the witness protection program after snitching on the mob. Despite the best efforts of CIA Agent Stansfield (Tommy Lee Jones) to keep them in line, Giovanni Manzoni (Robert DeNiro), his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer) and their children, Belle (Dianna Agron) and Warren (John D'Leo) cannot help but revert to old habits and blow their cover by handling their problems the "family" way, enabling their former mafia cronies to track them down.

The Family hits North American cinemas on September 13, 2013.
