Kiki's Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便 Majo No Takkyubin) Gets Live Action Movie Adaptation

Kiki's Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便 Majo No Takkyubin) was one of Studio Ghibli's favorite magical animation originally based on the 1985 children's fantasy novel by Eiko Kadono (publisher: Fukuinkan Shoten).

The novel was famously known by it's own right so there is no wonder really that aside from a feature length animation movie, a new live action adaptation will come our way. Kiki's Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便 Majo No Takkyubin) live action movie is directed by Takashi Shimizu and began filming last May 25, 2013 at Toei Tokyo Studio.

Kiki will be played by Fuka Koshiba, whose picture you can see below, and the dragonfly Tonbo will be played by Ryohei Hirota.
